We’ve taken a wander through Netflix Australia’s entire catalogue for 2022 and picked 6 of the shows we can’t wait to watch. Let’s take a look!

Black Mirror:

Every episode of Black Mirror tells a story set in the not-so-distant future, connected by the exploration of the dark side of technology. If you love a good sci-fi thriller than this might be the show for you, but be warned, you won’t look at your phone the same again!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine:

An absolute classic to watch on the couch after a late night, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a refreshing take on the traditional cop show, with plenty of laughs to be had. If you’re a fan of clever gags, well-written plots and even the occasional poignant moment, this one is for you.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive:

Not an F1 fan? Well, you’re about to be. This documentary provides an insight into the FIA Formula One World Championship where you’ll find a new appreciation for the top tier of motorsport.

The Office:

Not a ‘new’ show, but a new addition to the Netflix line-up, The Office is a rare instance of an American adaptation becoming more popular than its British original. Follow the misadventures of the various office employees of a paper company in mockumentary style. There are 9 binge-worthy seasons to enjoy in your very own home!

Seinfeld:

In the original sitcom about nothing, Seinfeld follows four friends as they navigate the often inane hassles of everyday life. The tight-knit writing and culture-shifting jokes make Seinfeld an extremely enjoyable watch even 30 years later.

The Good Place:

Set in the afterlife, those who were good during their lives are sent to live in an idyllic neighbourhood. When Eleanor finds herself a new member of this heavenly community, without having lived life as a good person, she seeks help to become better.

Charmingly funny with a top-notch cast, The Good Place is a must-watch.

Best window treatments for living room:

As the majority of your viewing is likely to take place in the living room, make sure you’ve got the right window treatments to help set the scene!

Blinds are a great starting point for your living space as they offer precise control over the amount of light in the room, they’re easily maintained and are an economical choice. Available in a stack of different colours, materials and styles, blinds provide a modern, low-profile aesthetic.

Curtains on the other hand are more of a traditional choice and offer a far more expressive design than modern blinds. They’re the perfect answer when it comes to creating and defining your living room space, plus they’re energy-efficient and permit a sense of creativity when experimenting with a range of fabrics.

Happy watching!
