Big blinds trends 2018
The warmer weather trends are already starting to emerge, and this year it seems spring will bring along with it a penchant for colour, comfort and effortless, earthy style.
Pastels: Pastel tones work to create a relaxed and tranquil mood, making a space soft and inviting. Buttery yellows, powder blues and soft sages are some of the tones to get behind this spring. Roller blinds, panel blinds and roman blinds look stunning in pastel hues.
Brights: We know bright colours can be a tough sell, especially when it comes to your window dressings. But vibrant pops of colour can look incredible when done well and are an easy way to bring fresh energy into your home. Try a roller blind in a vibrant hue and we promise it will make you smile.
Black timber: If industrial design is more your thing, black timber venetians are huge right now and complement an industrial space beautifully.
Style tip: Layering fabric panel blinds, or sheers with curtains, helps to filter sunlight for a gorgeous ambiance, as well as providing plenty of privacy.
Shapes and Patterns
Geometrics: Geometric patterns are becoming increasingly popular in interior design, and especially across soft furnishings. Go for a gorgeous pattern with a modern edge to update wallpaper, tiles and blinds. Roller blinds and panel blinds look particularly stunning in a patterned fabric.
Florals: Groundbreaking, right? There's a reason florals are so popular! Choose bright and bold or soft and subtle to incorporate modern floral design on your roller blinds or panel blinds.
Indoor plants and natural materials: If you're a big fan of indoor plants, complement yours with natural furnishings and colours. Go for rollers, panel or roman blinds.
Tropical tones: Kick back with a pina colada amongst jungle-themed prints, deep green hues and natural wood textures. Jamaican blinds, timber venetians and basswood timber shutters will give a natural wood texture, or incorporate jungle tones with roller, panel or roman blinds.
Double roller blinds: Mix and match your rollers to maximise style this spring. Go for a sunscreen layer with a blockout layer with double roller blinds or aero rollers.
Two-toned: For curtains, try different hems or style with tie-dyed appearance with gradual colour variation.
