So when Mirvac joined forces with Cachet Homes to build a brand new home to auction for Make-A-Wish, and asked us to get involved, we jumped at the chance. "Make-A-Wish does such amazing work for some of the bravest kids in our community," said ABC Blinds General Manager, Mark Brice, "We were privileged to be a part of this project, and thrilled with the result."
With full access to our extensive range of premium-quality blinds and awnings, the design dream-team selected the perfect window dressings to set and enhance the peaceful ambience and contemporary style of the Osprey Waters home.
Modern, white sheers were hung in the open-plan living area, perfectly complementing the neutral tones and laid-back feel of the space. With an airy kitchen and dining hub opening to a spectacular alfresco, the stunning sheers work to soften the link between inside and out, fill the centre of the home with energising, filtered natural light and provide protection from the heat and glare of the sun.
In the spacious bathrooms, the feature tiles were expertly offset by stylish, white timber blinds. With their minimalistic good-looks, fingertip light and temperature control and ability to block out the view from outside for complete privacy, timber blinds make a top choice for maximising both functionality and style.
For a luxurious, romantic and restful ambience in the master bedroom, the large windows were draped in modern sheers, chosen in a neutral grey colour and hung from ceiling to floor. The on-trend sheers allow for plenty of that glorious natural light, making the space feel bigger and brighter, while still maintaining essential UV protection and privacy.
The result was a truly spectacular three bedroom home in Osprey Waters, a massive $390,000 raised for Make-A-Wish and a truly unforgettable experience for all involved.
