| Fitting a blind is so simple that we're
confident it won't take you long! Just follow the steps
below. You'll also receive more detailed printed instructions
with your blinds should you need them. It's easy as ABC. |
1.
Power drill
2. Drill bit
3. Phillips Screwdriver (The
one with the crossed head)
4. A pencil |
If you're drilling into concrete,
brick or plaster you should use a 5.5mm diameter masonry
drill bit.
If you're drilling into wood, steel
or UPVC you should use a 3mm diameter high speed steel
(HSS) drill bit.
|
If you're drilling into tiles
then cover your drilling point with masking tape. This
will prevent the drill from slipping.
If you're drilling into UPVC make
sure you avoid the sealed unit. If you're not sure,
give us a call.

Simple steps To Fitting
Your web-blind
All our web blinds are easy to fit as the instructions
below show.
- Gather your tools and unpack your blind. Inside
you'll find all the fixtures and fittings that you'll
need, as well as a more comprehensive set of instructions.
- Decide where you want your blind to be positioned
and mark out your drill holes. In most cases you'll
only need to drill 2 holes. Usually these should be
positioned about 15cm from the end of the blind. Wider
blinds will need more holes drilling, but don't worry,
full details will come with your blind.
- Drill your holes and then screw the brackets into
place. You'll also be provided with rawl plugs, should
you need to use them.
- Fit your blind into the brackets. Almost all styles
of blind will just click into place. It really is
that easy.
